Last month we welcomed a new Partner Journey that truly surprised and inspired us.
A solar installer from New York found us on Facebook and reached out immediately with a bold request: Hello, I need 300 solar panels.
Story and Challenge
Before placing the order, most new partners choose caution — especially when switching suppliers.
But here’s what made this story unforgettable:
Timing wasn’t in our favor at first.
He reached us on a Saturday, and unfortunately, our Houston Solar Warehouse Operations team doesn’t operate on weekends.
But instead of postponing the plan or moving on:
✈️ He flew from New York to Texas over that weekend so he could be at the warehouse first thing on Monday morning.
🛻 Even more impressive — before seeing our stock, he already rented a bright yellow Penske truck, trusting that our products quality would back up every claim we made.
At the warehouse, while inspecting our 440W modules, he met another customer who had just picked up products from us.
🤝 The two installers began talking.
Then came the best kind of validation — one of them confidently endorsed:
“Their product is solid. The quality checks out. The price actually makes sense. You can trust these guys.”
And that personal recommendation sealed the deal.
🚚 Result?
This customer loved our products… and decided on the spot to take every single panel we had left in stock.
😅 Unexpected Challenge — and How We Solved It Together
When loading began, the cumtomer discovered the issue:
His rental truck could only fit 7 pallets.
One pallet + 17 loose panels couldn’t fit no matter how we tried.
He was anxious — needing the full order back in New York quickly for a scheduled project.
📞 He called us immediately.
⚡ And we were online instantly to help.
💡 Our Solution:
✔️ The customer took 7 pallets with him on the truck
✔️ We used our own freight forwarding partner to ship the remaining 1 pallet + 17 panels directly to New York
The Result
Delivery arranged smoothly, without delays to his installation schedule
He told us afterward:
“You didn’t just sell me panels. You solved my problems. That’s why I’ll continue working with you.”
And he did.
Shortly after, he pre-booked another new order with us — turning a first-time try into a long-term partnership.
